laura jane & joe

This wedding suite is chock full of sentimentality and just BURSTING with meaning! A boy from Clare and a girl from Donegal chose two cows to represent them because they have a very unique sense of FUN! They got a total kick out of everyone's reaction to their wedding invite - which I'll reiterate had COWS representing bride and groom - naturally I was only too happy to oblige them!

A super fun couple, Joe & Laura Jane were as original in their idea as it gets! They met at a 21st in Donegal, he saw she was cold and gave her his jumper - and as any woman knows, when it's 3am and freezing, that is the *height* of chivalry! As their love blossomed, they would take the bus on the N17 to see each other every wknd (awhh!) But as with many young Irish couples, emigration played a huge role in their love story with both setting sail to Melbourne.

Fast forward to the Melbourne Cup 2013 and after their horse 'Green Moon' came in, Joe got down on one knee and the rest as they say is history!

Koo Wee Rup, where they settled is known for it's vast quantities of asparagus, didn't you know πŸ˜„ This Irish illustrator did not but if it ever comes up in a table quiz I'm ready πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ€“

Oh I do love a gorgeous luxury stock! A heavy textured card soaks up the ink and makes such a difference in presentation of your wedding paper goods.
